I have been a marketplace seller for 2 years now and get between 1-3 sales a week, on average. However, Fab is showing in my sales report that I have not had any sales in January 2025 - is anyone else experiencing this? Really hope its an error in the sales report rather than my actual sales just plummeting.
I do think that there isn’t actually anything wrong with the sales report but rather it’s a decline in what you’re selling. A LOT of people stopped buying things here after FAB came, as its facing multiple issues right now. We can only hope they fix their broken website for now.

Unfortunately, that’s the reality, there’s no bug in the report. Sales are really terrible right now.
What buyers and sellers are asking is removing AI generated Assets not label as AI.
And show AI content should be off by default.
This is the most important and that is why there are fewer buyers on fab.
I wish the Fab Team add that in priority on their roadmap since that would be the most helpful to up our sales.

Then there stolen assets, where popular sellers are not recommending to buy on Fab for now on their discord. Especially when you read things like that:

Fab is still on a basic version and missing lot of features but what buyers really care now is the ai generated content.

Yes. I actually tried to browse FAB again this morning to see if there are things that could be useful for a project I’m working on but it’s just so much harder now.
I’ve bought basically nothing since FAB launched and it will continue that way until there is real change. Not a roadmap with planned changes. Actual changes.
The market is mostly AI garbage now and the filters don’t work because many sellers choose not to mark content as AI-generated.

Yeah its pretty annoying… I have put lots of work into photo scanning and preparing a handful of packs as well for FAB…
I prepared my first and posted and not even a single bite. My other pack that was heightmap based was selling well before… and now that has stopped also.
Its pretty annoying. Time to move away from FAB i guess.

I wanted to jump in to assure you that we’re actively looking into this and closely monitoring sales performance.
Looking at the data, we see some sellers are experiencing a drop in sales, while others are seeing year-over-year growth. With more sellers coming together on Fab from Sketchfab, Unreal Engine Marketplace and other marketplaces some variance is expected, but we are going to keep digging into this so we can ensure we are continuing to make updates that benefit the entire community.
In terms of what’s next, our highest priority product work is focused on search and discovery, improving the accuracy and quality of results. As part of this work, we’re incorporating new data points—including historical and new sales performance—and tweaking the weight of these signals to help the community find what they’re looking for.
We’re also introducing a wishlist feature for buyers, bringing back the individual sales feature soon, and driving more users to Fab in 2025 with additional marketing investments. These updates should have a positive impact across the whole community.
