I ran alignment, the console reports finding lots of features, but then says “Feature detection completed in 0 seconds. Finalizing 1 component”, but I get no component at all. Are these conflicting messages or normal if there is not enough overlap for example?

in an ideal case you should also see _Reconstruction completed in … seconds _after these messages.
What kind of dataset are you using? What are your alignment settings?
Yes I also get “Reconstruction completed in 32.325 seconds. Reconstruction completed in 32.399 seconds.”
It’s only 20 images, one full rotation.
I’m not sure if it’s default settings: max features per mpx 20 000, max features per image 50 000, image overlap medium, image downscale factor 1, max feature reprojection error 1.000000
What type of object did you scanned?

I’m was trying to test some different aperture settings on a sneaker. Originally uncompressed TIF:
Strange. I tried re-opening the project one more time (have tried a full reboot earlier)… this time when I pressed align I got a component with 20/20 cams. But all is not well I suspect, got a message of failing to correct image colors “invalid or corrupt input data. [0x506e\0x506e]”
Ok, I think I see the issue. I need to crop out the light box bottom edge that is visible. The camera positions all end up in one point. Changing back to default settings and restarting might have solved the original issue, I get a 20/20 result each time now.
When I tried again the color correction worked, I though there might be an issue with the TIFs, but I guess not.
So a crop and all should be fine.
