Hi!
I am learning Chaos and have a basic question. I have imported a Quixel Megascan object from Fab into Unreal Engine 5.5.4, created a Geometry Collection from it and then fractured it using the default settings in the Uniform fracture type. As shown in the first screenshot below, no bone colors are displayed in the viewport for the Quixel concrete pipe on the right side, even though “Show Bone Colors” is enabled. Also, there is now yellow selection outline around it.
In the screenshot, I also have a standard Cylinder shape that is a separate geometry collection and fractured the same way as the Quixel pipe and both objects are selected.
If I run the simulation, both objects break into pieaces, as shown in the second screenshot
Does anyone know what the reason for this is? Is there some special setting that has to be tweaked for Quixel objects to show bone colors and the selection outline?
