No audio when using a Media Player streaming HLS

Hello!
Me and our team are very satisfied with the HLS streaming UE has provided. We are able to stream our m3u8 playlists correctly, and they are displayed in a very acceptable quality in our Android VR devices.
We have an issue, no audio plays when we stream a .m3u8 file, but when we stream a regular .mp4 we get audio and video.

Our Media Player uses AndroidMedia.

I’ve seen other topics created and not receive a response.

I would like to know if this is a known issue or if it has a solution.

Glad you are pleased with HLS steaming on android VR. For no aydio with Feline blog m3u8 files, ensure audio codes are compatible with Android media player.check player configuration for audio track handaling.

I checked and android media does seem to stream HLS.
Do you know anything about playing m3u8 using Electra?
I don’t really mind what to use, I’d just like to be able to stream HLS to android with audio.
