I wanted to share some feedback on the new Nike Football skins in Fortnite.
Overall, I think the concept is great and football cosmetics are a strong addition to the game. However, there are a couple of limitations that make the skins feel less complete than they could be.
- Only 4 Nike national teams are available as edit styles, even though there are 12 Nike-sponsored teams in the World Cup.
- There is currently no option to customize the jersey number on the skins.
Football cosmetics feel more personal when players can fully represent their team or create their own identity. The current limitations make the outfits feel a bit restrictive compared to what players were expecting.
- Expand edit styles to include all 12 Nike World Cup teams
- Add jersey number customization (similar to player number selection in real football kits)
- Consider adding deeper customization for future football collaborations
I think these changes would significantly improve the value and appeal of the skins and make them feel more aligned with what football fans expect from this type of collaboration.
