I am looking for some help.
Is there a way to turn on a trigger or something similar based on the time of day?
I am looking to create a game where creatures only spawn at night and despawn when it is morning.
I’d rather not use a timer, but I will if I have to.
Yes, you can drop some Day Sequence Devices in.
You can set them to affect the whole map or an area
They can be Enabled/Disabled or Faded In and Out by triggers or many other Device events, giving you a lot of options.
The best way may be to leave one always on, but set its priority lower than the other one which gets faded in and out…or enabled/disabled
Theres some good settings to play with
Hello! I made a map with a similar mechanic where zombies got tougher at night, and I wanted a smooth transition as going between day sequences is very sudden and the blend settings don’t do anything. The total length of a day in fortnite is about 18 minutes (45 second hours), I made a sequence that is 1063 seconds long. Set sequence to play automatically at the start of the game. Then set your day sequence to start at 22 hours, as this is the beginning of night time. You can then set a marker 515 seconds into your sequence which will be when daytime starts. This sequence is now your whole day and now you can put triggers or other devices in there to activate at certain time! If you’d like to try the map it is 5152-8352-0052
