Niagara Vector Fields CPU Access Error

I’ve got some emitters that are using vector fields, but every time I restart the editor they lose cpu access, breaking the vector field’s functionality. I have to open the niagara systems up and manually enable it every time. Furthermore, I’m concerned that this issue will propagate to any builds, and that vector fields will be entirely unusable.
There’s an old bug, ticket UE-87897 (Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-87897)), that mentions this issue way back in 2020 for Unreal 4.23, and after no activity at all it was marked as “Won’t Fix” almost 2 years later.

Is there something I’m missing here? Maybe a way to give the system cpu access from blueprints on load? If the bug has been marked as won’t fix, I assume there’s some kind of workaround? If someone could point me in the right direction I’d be very grateful.

I’m on engine version 5.4.4.
