Hi.
I saw a mention of this feature in this presentation. I found the “Traverse Skeletal Mesh” module in Niagara, but I didn’t understand how to use it. Maybe someone has a basic example for this?
Thank you in advance.
When adding the Traverse Skeltal mesh you can click to show the module usage info:
Here its just a mesh render with a simple setup of gravity and noise to show it to you
For some reason, my particles get stuck after traversing a single triangle on the surface of the skeletal mesh. Have tried playing with all the settings but haven’t been able to resolve the issue.
I’m getting this same issue. Did you ever figure this out?
No, I tried again last week in 5.4.4 and the issue was still present. I am currently unable to use the traverse module and had to use alternative approaches.
I stumbled across this post yesterday and initially ran into the same issue. I was able to get it to work by updating the Initialize Traverse Skeletal Mesh “initial triangle triangle coordinate” to link to my output skeletal mesh location. Hope that helps
