Hello everyone,
I’m encountering an issue with my Niagara system’s orientation. When I rotate the Parent Component, the Niagara system doesn’t seem to align correctly. I’ll illustrate the problem with images as they convey the issue more effectively:
Here’s the Niagara system in its default rotation.
Upon rotating the actor, as indicated by the red arrow, it appears as though the system is set to point toward a specific location. It doesn’t adapt to the rotation of the parent component. I’ve tried various solutions but to no avail.
It seems that the Niagara system is designed this way. However, I can’t locate the specific option or setting to rectify this. The only method that made a difference was enabling the “Local Space” option.
However, this solution results in undesirable behavior as it causes all the particles to follow the emitter’s location. This makes it resemble a static mesh, and the flames will follow the player.
Thanks everyone for the time!.
