Niagara Sim Cache for Groom Not Driving Simulation in Sequencer

Hi All,

Reference guide: Caching A Groom Simulation in Unreal Engine | Tutorial

I’m using UE5.2 to render a short animation. Simply enabling simulation for my groom asset on my character moves the hair when animation sequences drive the body and head. However, after using the above guide to record a sim cache of the groom asset and pressing play in the sequencer, the hair no longer moves.

Furthermore, when trying to save the sim cache as an asset, it crashes my editor without any errors. Does anyone have any idea why on these two weird behaviors?
