I animated a short sequence in Blender and exported it to an alembic and imported it into UE5, I managed to make the animation work within Niagara and the Geometry Cache Renderer, but I want to smooth out the appearing and dissapearing part.
I tried to make a scale color and a float from curve in the scale alpha but nothing happens, after that I tried a Dynamic Material Parameters Module and tried to change the alpha over the material but the same result, nothing changes.
Also on a Sidenote, not sure why but my animation in the timeline starts after my Niagara is finished, anyone has an idea why it starts after one second, I checked every module and it should normaly start at zero seconds?
Is there maybe a special module for the Geometry Cache Render or maybe I’m missing something else? Thank you in advance for anyone who has an answer
