Niagara effect auto activates even though auto activate is off?

I have a niagara particle spawner that auto activates even though auto activate is off. Setting it to hidden in game removes it. But deactivating it in runtime does not stop it.

All my other niagara effects doesn’t do this, is there anything in the niagara asset that can cause this?

Edit: I should add that in the viewport it turn off when I disable auto activate, it is just when running the game that it appears again

Ok so this turned out to be an On begin overlap issue, but the activate node was never triggered according to debug…
