Niagara 2D fluid sim bake has black box in its center


As you can see, on the left the smoke effect has no issue, but in the baking screen on the right there is a noticeable black box obstructing both the visuals and the simulation itself. The black box does get baked into the SubUV map.

I have looked at old SubUV’s and cannot find the box, but on all new ones I make it persists. I have even looked at the source systems that come with the plugin and they appear there too.

How do I get rid of it?

Setting “DepthBufferThickness” under “Collsions” to zero seems to have solved this issue. I’m not sure what it purpose is though.
