Hello! I’ve just installed Unreal Engine 5.3 on my new laptop and it behaves very weirdly. First of all, there is a menu bug. Whenever I point at or click on the menu (the top bar or the outliner), a black screen with the same list of menu commands pops up and takes up the whole screen (see the attached screenshots) and disappears when I stop pointing at it.
The second issue is a crash that happened when I clicked on new plugins available. The following error message has appeared “GPU crashed or D3D device removed. Use -d3ddebug to enable D3D device”.
I am a newbie to this application and just started learning the application a few months ago. At first, I used Unreal Engine 5.1 on my old laptop and none of these problems ever happened. But yesterday I installed Unreal Engine 5.3 on my new laptop as no other versions were available for downloading and I started having these problems right after the initial installation when I opened Unreal Engine 5.3 for the first time and it keeps coming up every time I open it again whether a completely new blank or an old project, created in the previous version. I tried to reinstall the Epic Games Launcher and the UE 5.3. thinking something might have gone wrong during the first installation attempt but it didn’t help. So I guess some component or driver might be missing or there is some incompatibility with the system but I don’t know what or where to look at to solve the problem. I hope someone will be able to give a hint at what might be causing these problems.
you can install older version by clicking this + button and then selecting the version you want to install.

Thank you for the tip. I have installed the latest version of the Nvidia Driver and the problems disappeared. It seems to be working fine, at least for now.
