Newbie's First Step in UE for, Feedback for Test Level

I am an Newbie in Game Development, and after playing around with the Sculptris, Blender and UE4, i created now my first Test level.

Well myself found already some issues in the Terrain like the grass in the cave etc.
but I think some feedback about the hole Level, from poeple with way more expirience then i have would be nice.

New Video

You’ll get there whatever your doing just like me at this time I know my basic Blueprint and now learning Maya LT so I can at least model my own meshes and its own animation. Why? Free meshes does not cut it and Unreal Engine 4 does not do modeling or animation even though it has its own animation. However, character animation is done using a 3D program so I highly suggest learning at least one and both Blender and Maya LT ($30 a month) or Maximo Fuse for character based models only and Speedtree (For plants and trees), but I will mostly use Speedtree and some on Fuse for quick and easy models and Maya LT will be just for weapons and other objects and buildings.

I am so glad Epic released their UE4 for only $19 and freedom to cancel because my subscription should of cancelled by now, but they had a bug problem I was able to keep my subscription and hopefully get new updates. Also I just successfully got a job interview so I hope get the job and pay Epic antoher $19 a month for another updates and buy Maya the real deal. And I could never get this far without UE4 and now I hope I could release or find a team and start a business and maybe earn a living by making video games.

I use Sculptris to sculp my Meshes and Blender to Animate them, but i have little trouble with rigging them, when the meshes got to complex, but i added 2 models of my own design, the attacking plant at the start and the two guys in the gave next to the Maximo Vampire.

Update Video, because old one was horrible

Pretty cool Xhyko! I like the terrain, the funky trees, really good rock work, love the arch. You could maybe slap down some decals or particle effect under her feet as she runs, to kick up dust or make boot prints. Your river is nice. Your landscape transitions: dirt to grass, grass to rocky areas, very nice. Did you make the bridge? cuz it’s well done. Pretty good all in all. Keep it up.

That looks really good for a first effort. I especially like the look of the cliff faces / formations. Did you create all that with the UE terrain editor?

If you are a Newbie, than I am a Frisbee. :frowning:

LOL

Some people are just more talented than other. Haha. Your modeling & animation skill certainly not newbie for sure.

I do not meant to be bad, but I have issue with female game characters wearing only underpants…

…that doesn’t have proper butt physics. Get it sorted out fast! :stuck_out_tongue:

On a serious note, keep up the good work.

Good luck for your interview.
