move content out of the default directories?
I can’t stand the setup when you start a project with the Unreal templates. It drives my OCD crazy to have 3 or 7 folders called “Mesh” and Blueprints, or whatever. Help!
More details:
I started a new project using the TP template, and replaced the mannequin with a custom character from Mixamo. I got some animations working for my character, then replaced the template default character with my custom character in the GameMode class. All was well until my ocd kicked in and I started moving content out of the template’s folders into my own.
So, when I start my map up, the playerstart doesn’t show the custom character and even if I replace her with the mannequin, it refuses to show the third person actor unless I re-add the third person template again!
