hello to all,
i just got into game making and i’ve learned lots of things but at the same time, i haven’t learned enough key things that go into making a 3rd person game, maybe i haven’t found the right tutorial out of the hundreds i’ve already watched, or maybe its just me. With that being said i have lots of questions and need some help with a project i’m working on. i currently use Zbrush to model my characters and im fairly knowledgeable in that, i also have maya and blender with little knowledge on those as well as UE4:confused:. what i would like to know is what would be the ideal process for getting a character moving in UE4? i have tried bringing in a character from zbrush(with no skeleton) to maya and just slapping on the texture and normal map then exporting to fbx. and uploading to Mixamo for quick rigging but when i import my character it is super tiny and doesn’t move correctly like the base character does. would it be better to just rig the character myself in maya than using mixamo? i know there are personal preferences but what ever preference is being done the most would probably be the best one for me to do or learn. if anyone can shed some light on this i would appreciate it.
