New Splines & SplineMeshComponent


I was wondering if there are any plans to provide any tutorials or documentation on how to use the new spline features that have been added to UE 4.3. I am interested in experimenting with the new features but am unsure how to properly set them up.

Additionally I was wondering what the overhead is with a SplineMeshComponent compared to a regular static mesh. Do the spline meshes remain “dynamic” or is there anyway to “cook” the spline mesh into a static mesh at runtime.
