New here.

Hello, I’m new to Unreal. I just started attending Full Sail University for Game Design. Video games area passion of mine ever since I was little so being able to create them is very exciting for me. If anyone has any advise or tips for me I would appreciate it.

Welcome. Do all your school projects and count that as 1/3 what you’ll need to get a good job. So, do lots of extra projects throughout school, the minimum to graduate is not enough to get hired as a artist or designer in the Video Game Industry.

Hello and welcome.

First of all well done for choosing a professional AAA game engine.

1: no need to pay for tutorials you can get them free on youtube.
2: any game ideas you have put them on hold. just make a simple game fun and expand from there.
3: doing is learning, imagining is wasteful … so be productive and create as much as you can.
4: stay away from boy toys like unity engine.
