Pretty Cool having AI humanoids Is a solid feature In survival crafting games.
The Starting looked like 2011-2013 games, gave a nostalgic feeling.
Wow, this has so much energy. Great atmosphere. I loved the part when they turn on the lights!

Hope you’re doing well!
I’m a complete survival craft geek so I’ve been following subsistence for a while. One of my favorite features is the use of modern tech in the form of lights and elevators. Such a rarely used feature but it definitely makes the game a bit more open to a crazy amount of content.
As for the trailer, I love that it progresses through game stages from just looking around at the environment to eventually exploding an entire base! Wonderfully done.
Thanks so much for sharing an update with us here on the Unreal Engine Forums and I can’t wait to explore Subsistence myself!
PS: Bird migration is such a cool idea
