So much for efficient screen usage.
Not everyone is browsing the forums with a hipster smartphone
Subscriptions panel is much worse than the previous one:
- I see no button to jump to first unread post
- only topics with unread post were displayed (or just in bold font - can’t remember)
Looks very bad on laptop and desktop, besides it doesn’t add anything useful to the whole experience.
Where can i change to dark theme?
Old theme was very nice and easier to work with
Is the SEARCH broken? Tried searching for my Support page, and it came up empty with no results. Used to come up with lots of results and I would easily find my page. Searching for ‘Inventory’ only turns up 2 out of the entire forum?
So far:
- Search is broken
- No ability to jump onto last page of thread
- Nested quotes look ugly
- Roughly 60% of screen space at 1080p is actually used
- Search box is misplaced
- Badges are missing and are barely distinguishable
- Signatures are disabled by default.
- Lack basic stuff in quick reply.
- User name and title lack difference in font size.
Absolutely agree.
While writing this reply, I also noticed its impossible to reply to two posts at once, it will only show one quote.
Old forum was much, much better. 
I know Epics have his reasons but why change something that work fine?
Need the “New Posts” button back something fierce. And signatures. Other than that, it seems solid.
This certainly hasn’t done anything to shake that whole “Epic is astronomically incompetent” image that they have had here on the forums for the last year or so.
Come on now, that’s unnecessary.
It’s not about smartphones or hipsters. Ultrawide websites are difficult to read because you need constantly move your eyes to the left and right edge of screen. It’s simply tiring your eyes.
That’s why most of the forums use fixed width. Just take a look at Steam, GOG, Polycount.
Also almost every blog uses limited screen width for similar reasons. Easier to read and you got control over text’s layout.
Using 100% of your screen width it’s very useful if you need display lot of content, image-based services are great example. Artstation or Pinterest.
And I’m very happy with this change 
Still… white background is pure evil, so I’d recommend everyone to use f.lux ap. It’s painful for me to browse bright internets at night without f.lux

While I understand this is -the white- theme, the vast use of 255,255,255 really hurts the eyes. That can probably be reduced to around 240,240,240.
Anytime I go to a new thread it logs me out back in and when I reply it normally gives me the following page at least twice. Tried to upload a photo of the Error but I get a “Failed Upload” popup error now. Forum is almost broken now.
I get error on every page turn! When i refresh the page it logs me back in, and i can read one single page, error again. I have about 30 seconds of window before the site drops my session. Brilliant!
The same here, and yes it is absolutely and utterly broken. Nothing works AT ALL.

[USER=“9”] Ellis[/USER] There seems to be some caching that ends up sending the set-cookie headers again and again, causing me to get “logging you in” over and over, and many other random stuff.
The cookie lifetimes also seems to be extremely low?
Or something is wrong with session replication. So every time I hit a new server I get logged out and back in again because it doesn’t trust my session id.
