"new" Dev with simple questions

Hey guys! I’ve been a game developer for a minute, but all I’ve done is make effects for games. Its gone super well! I want to take my skills to the next level though and actually learn beyond Niagara as far as how to make the actual game. So I’ve taken it upon myself to make a game so I can be better for the team in the future.
I started with a side scrolling platformer tutorial using the 3rd person template. It’s all going well, until now, when I preview my game inside of the editor the player start spawns wherever the camera is at. Whereas when I preview the game in the BP for the player character, the player starts in the correct place. Also, when I drop in a Player start actor into the world, the content editor shows me it’s (unloaded) and I don’t know what that means.

It’s not a huge issue since I’m still fairly new to this, but I’d like to know what I did wrong.
I’m sure this is a pretty vague ask, so if there’s any information that would help you guys.

Sounds a bit like this:

So that’s unfortunately greyed out D:

You sure you have a Player Start in this level? Not having it would grey the option out.

sorry for the late reply! I do have the player dtart in the level.
they player start was greyed out, amd said unloaded in the content browser .
Im not sure how I did it, but the editor crashed ,and when I opened it up everything worked.

That happens to me from time to time, for all type of actors. They are shown as unloaded in the outliner, but as soon as you reopen the map (no crash needed ) everything is working as intended.
