So I am trying to mail support so they can give me a PDF printout of my old Unreal Marketplace wishlist, but the captcha is not accepting my inputs. Even if I exactly match the puzzle pieces (which has happened to me exactly once, since whenever the targets are to the sides, you are incapable of exactly lining up the pieces), I get a “captcha was wrong” message and my support request doesn’t get submitted.
Who knows. Epic aren’t interested. Captcha has hit a new low of pure frustration.
Starting with this classic vague useless error: ‘Incorrect response / refresh page’!
How is anyone supposed to troubleshoot that with no insights / explanation ever?
Lost 15-20 minutes just fighting that (randomly changed browsers & rotated IP’s).
Now there’s the lets-play ‘drag the shapes around’, except the shapes don’t drag!!!
Or one can be dragged but the other just stubbornly stays there / refuses to move.
Or this classic below, where the shapes don’t even match… So good luck with that.
Honestly, just realized really, this is as good as it will ever get with Epic SUPPORT.
Epic have no interest in their own Marketplace or Forums. Indies are invisible now…
Time to take a break. Return to Godot for a bit. Meanwhile, maybe they fix things!
Edit:
Having to log into Fab + Forums separately now means Captcha is double trouble.
Wasn’t always this way. Remember when it was shared cookie session/same login. BTW:
Check Browser page-loading prefs. Fab may not account for different languages!
