It seemed like when I first installed 4.25.3, I could create new projects just fine. Now, when I create one, the Unreal Editor just sits there forever initializing at 39%.
I have free space and I see a bunch of shader compiles in my windows task list.
Why does a new blank project have to compile anything? I chose no content when I created the project…?

i have the same problem on one of my pc. It takes forever or crash when just load a blank project.
Only a few people have this problem… I had the same problem as you however there is a way to fix it. when you’re creating your project, you must disable raytracing. That is how I fixed it. Reply back to me if it worked or not. If you already fixed the issue just leave this reply alone
