New animation pose not the same as created pose

Hey all

Ok for starters, im not an animator, I usually get others to rig and animate characters for me. But i think its about time I learned.

So simple issue as it seems. I understand the Locomotion, Ive made a new state for my character to aim. I initially downloaded a mixamo aim animation. But i didnt like it.

So I tried my hand. But lets be honest its more a pose than an animation. but in the space of an hour i was happy with my pistol pose.

I connected it to my state ran the 3rd person test level and voila , my character aimed!. But not as it should. One of the arms dont look right at all. Here are the pics

ok not perfect but a little tweaking some of the arms to get rid of the twisting but not too bad right?

See my issue? Is this common? did I miss something? I have repeatedly checked the correct animation is hooked to the Aim State. But this output is strange

I don’t suppose you found solution? I’m seem to have a similar issue
