I’ve released Nemesis Stats Framework 1.0 for Unreal Engine 5.8.
The goal is simple:
Build the stat system your game actually needs without locking your project into a predefined RPG architecture.
You can start with something as simple as:
Health = 100
Or build complete relationships such as:
Vitality → Max Health → Current Health
Nemesis Stats is a standalone, data-driven C++ framework with a Blueprint-accessible API. It can be used for Action games, Souls-likes, RPGs, Shooters, Survival games, Roguelikes, MOBAs, JRPGs, Tactical RPGs, or completely custom gameplay systems.
It supports custom, direct and derived Stats; Health, Stamina, Mana and custom Resources; regeneration and drain; action Costs; multi-resource atomic Costs; advanced formulas; Damage Channels; Resistances and Mitigation; critical damage; buildup; Status Effects; periodic effects; immunities; Buffs and Debuffs; equipment modifiers; progression; stat queries; Weight and Encumbrance; World Effect Volumes; runtime profile layers; Transactions; Persistence; external and hybrid stat ownership; diagnostics and validation tools; and server-authoritative multiplayer state.
Your gameplay remains in control.
Nemesis Stats does not force its own combat system, movement, animations, hitboxes, abilities, inventory or AI.
Your gameplay decides what happened.
Nemesis Stats resolves the numeric consequences.
Attack → Commit Stamina Cost → Execute Attack
Hit → Damage Request → Resistance / Mitigation → Health
This means you can integrate it with your own Blueprint gameplay, C++ systems, combat frameworks, inventory systems, abilities and third-party plugins.
The framework is fully standalone. No additional Nemesis plugin is required.
Full C++ source is included.
A playable Windows showcase is available so you can test the framework in action before deciding whether it fits your project.
Complete documentation is also available, including Quick Start, beginner-to-advanced guides, Blueprint API information, integration guidance and troubleshooting.
Nemesis Stats Framework will continue receiving future updates and improvements.
Planned future engine support includes Unreal Engine 6 once official UE6 releases are available and compatibility can be properly validated.

If you’re building a project around custom Stats, Resources, Damage, Status Effects or multiplayer numeric gameplay, I’d be interested to hear what kind of system you’re building.
