Need to build PC for UE4 (US$1300)

Hey there,

I need to build PC for UE4 around US$1300.
I’ll be using 2 monitor, one for UE4 and one for 3Ds or VS.

Thank you.

I would recommend you to search in this forum and in answerhub, because this question has been asked many times and when you compare some threads you can get a pretty good result

I’ve search them, they’re way too high in price.

go to some community like reddit/r/buildapc , those will help you a lot( they did with me).

Maybe check out ://www.reddit/r/buildapc/ then.

Sure, thanks.

Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Pro3
Processor: Intel i5-4670K
Heat Sink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO with 120 mm PWM Fan (for overclocking, otherwise use stock cooler)
Memory: Any 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3-1866 memory
Graphics: GeForce GTX 770
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO
Power: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX650 650 W
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Series Orange Trim
OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit, OEM

Should end up a bit under your budget. Use what is left to get a storage hard drive or maybe a BD-player if you really need one.

I recommend buying from Amazon, Newegg, and/or NCIX
here’s a good list for you from newegg:

Motherboard: ASROCK x79 Extreme4
Processor: Intel Core I7-4820k
Memory: 16GB (2x8gb) G. Skill Sniper Gaming Series DDR3 1866
Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770 OR AMD R9 280x
Hard Drive: Seagate 1TB 3.5" Desktop SSHD
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650 G 80 PLUS GOLD
Case: Cooler Master HAF XB Evo
Optical Drive: Samsung CD+DVD Drive
OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit

Total should come out to around 1240-1250 (unfortunately since newegg doesn’t understand the wonders of ab everyday low-price strategy, their price varies by the day, but at the time of writing this, everything came out to $1240 & free shipping)
Make sure to check both Amazon and NCIX for these items too, some things might be cheaper

How is this?

How about fans for my PC?
I’ll be overnight using.

Careful shopping on Ebay can do wonders.

For Intel the Haswell refresh processors just came out today, you might want to check reviews and prices before ordering.

I would get a motherboard with the newer Z87 chipset, but apart from that it looks good. The case includes two 120mm fans which should be plenty to start with. To get the best out of overclocking you should get a better (than the included) CPU cooler and maybe some extra fans. But that is stuff you can easily add later.

Which GPU should I choose?

GTX690 , GTX Titan or GTX 780 ti?

Thanks.( if you know anyother good GPU list them out.

GTX 780 Ti, but I would get the somewhat weaker but much cheaper Radeon R9 290.
