Hi everyone, I am working on Dead Fibers, a FPS post apocalyptic game since a year. I am working on the demo for the game which will be available in the SteamFest in Feb-2026 but for now i have a playable demo ready to test out the games weapons. I would like some volunteers to test out the game on different hardware to see the performance. I have already tested the build on a 3090 and a 4060 and the game runs well on both. If anyone wants to test out the build, kindly reach out to me with your email and GPU on which you will test it out.

Hey @Wolfy123x! Welcome back! You have clearly put a lot of effort into this! The gameplay and weapon design look great. Are you aiming for certain weapon types for now? Or will you be expanding it into more types as you develop the game further?
Thanks buddy, i appreciate it and yes i have been working hard on the game while also working a full time job. Finally able to release a demo soon in Feb on Steam and then the game release later next year. Regarding the weapons, i have limited the weapons you can test in this demo build as i do not want to reveal everything. Some things should be kept for the full game. The weapons are already mostly designed and include standard weapons like pistols, rifles/sniper rifles, shotguns and grenade/RPG launchers but there are some unique weapons like the corner gun, gravity gun, C4 gun, flamethrower, spycam pistol, Raygun/sci-fi gun. If you have a suggestion for a weapon, please let me know and i can consider adding it to the game if it makes sense.
Hey @Wolfy123x! Secret weapons are my favorite! I love FPS games so my suggestion would be all of them! But I am sure that may be asking for a bit much. So I will patiently wait to see what you release when the full game drops. Keep us updated!
