Need Perforce Tutoring

To be honest, unless you’re a professional team, Perforce might not be a good fit for you. I’ve been helping people move off P4 to GitHub, and with the new LFS support it makes Git a very competitive and easy SCM for projects which include large static binary files in the tree. If you have a lot of P4 devs who are already in the ecosystem, then by all means use it, but I’ve found that for most people Git is more widely understood. I haven’t touched real Perforce servers in depth for about five years, and the new Helix product is totally new to me, but I’d be willing to Skype you for a quick chat and see if I can at least help you move the ball forward.
