AimNode won’t update on level placed and then possessed actor won’t move his back up and down. Any ideas?
Im a little confused by that question.By animNode, you mean the character animation editor or a matinee sequence? And by ‘‘won’t move his back up and down’’ do you mean animation blending? If you want, place a screenshot or two of what you have to better understand.
Hold on I’ll make a video soon I hope.
Well I fixed it let’s describe it.
I was adding and possessing a pawn through kismet.
For some reason the spine would not bend over, flex, rotate.
But after adding a new pawn it worked… I’m not sure why.
The AimNode it’s the anim tree node, I will make video anyways.

Glad you fixed it.A few things that come to mind.I did pawn possession before and looking at your kismet, it is obviously custom right? Maybe try with the posses pawn kismet that comes with udk? If you expanded form that one maybe something was removed?
The T pose shape of the pawn is most probably because when you click it twice for the options, you didn’t inserted a animtree for it to use.(or not a complete animtree that has its animation blending slots>a older one you created?)
When i posses lets say a mobile pawn, and forget to give it a animset/animtree, I think it stays in T pose too.
Mmmmmh It’s custom yes.
I have no idea what happens
