Need helping understanding what signifies a "sellable" Blueprints item in the Epic Marketplace

Hi,
I’ve been developing video games using Unreal Engine 4 for the past three years. And, I have an idea that I would like to build, and add as a Blueprints item to sell on Epic’s Marketplace. Since it is my firsst time, I am unfamiliar with the requirements of content.
So to examine exactly what requirements must be met for a project to deserve to be sold over on the Marketplace, I read the Guidelines, which is very short, and more about ethics rather than about content itself.
Then, I downloaded “Horror Engine” free Blueprint project. It is quite the sizeable project. Basically, it feels like selling Blueprints template project. But, it is still not %100 clear.

  • What signifies a “sellable” Blueprints item in Market place? For example, number of items, functionality, Blueprints ONLY…etc.
  • Does the Blueprint project has to be made in CPP? Or could it be built in Blueprints only?

Furthermore, if anyone has any tips or rules-of-thumb to building, selling a Blueprints, please share

Thank you

Any ideas would be helpful! Bump bump bump

Thank you for the suggestions.

  1. I just sent Epic an email now.

  2. I read about developers doing that, wasn’t sure about the where and the how. I’ll start one, and see how it goes.

  3. Well, the revenue share is %88 now, and the freebies are sponsored, so I don’t think that should mean a net loss at all.
