I am quite new to UE5 (started yesterday) and I am following a tutorial for some simple door mechanics. However I just does not work and I have checked multiple times if I somehow screwed up in following the tutorial.

Could you post images of what you’ve already done, the blueprints, and explain what’s not working?

the only thing you did was link a video. Nobody has a clue what you have done or what the problem is. How could anybody solve a problem on the other side of the internet that they can’t see?
Solving a problem in code is just like finding your keys that you lost. Just go back on step at a time. Where is the last place I know for certain that I had them?
So you got to walk us through each step you took very carefully, and then somebody may be able to point out a problem somewhere. It’s tedious work, but we all do it.
