I’m quite new to the Unreal Engine and i have a problem regarding my hobby project. I’m creating a space game, where interstellar travel is done with large jump gates.
To put it short: My issue is, linking two gates together that are in different levels and therefore in different Star systems. I want my spaceship to fly through the event horizon, and then appearing at the destination system out of the linked gate. However, i do not seem to get the blueprints done. For testing purposes, i created a sphere actor, with an overlapping Event. While i managed to end up in my other level, my ship doesn’t spawn at the other ‘gate’, because i can’t get the destination gate into the blueprint. I’m just hitting a wall or something.
Could anyone help me with this?
