hi there, i am newbie in game engine, having a basic question here,
I’m starting a New Project 2D Side Scroller Blueprint.
The starter project have a lot folder here: Architecture, Audio, Blueprint, Maps, Material, Particles, Props, Shapes, Sprites and Textures.
All this folder some of them are example, may i know which one i can delete it?
I just get the Kenny.nl Platformer Pack from Marketplace, wanna try learn making a 2D games from here.
When you make a project there’s a checkbox in the bottom left for whether or not to include the starter assets. If you haven’t done much work yet I’d just make a new project and leave that unchecked.
Even better is that Unreal has a way to export an asset and all its dependencies from one project to another, so you can pick and choose if you need some of the starter content later.
wow, thanks ur help!!
i didnt saw that checkbox, just focus on project only, ha.
by the way, UE4 can package project to Android and IOS,
Android can package below Win7 or Win8,
how bout IOS, only can package below iMAC? Win7 cant?
From what I’ve seen you can package Blueprint-only projects for iOS using Windows. Haven’t done it myself so I can’t confirm.
Really? that great for me, i’m learning using Blueprint now, and i have no iMAC computer.
