I have this Corvette model, and I want to use it in various unreal environments.
The problem is, every time I bring it in a scene I have to create all the materials from the textures and apply them to the car EVERY DAMN TIME!
Sometimes when i finally add all the materials and save it. I’ll come back to that scene a week later, and my car is there…but none of the textures again.
Is there a way I can have my car ready and with all materials and able to import to any scene without having to recreate all my materials and apply them again?
Please let me know…this is driving me nuts!
See if you have correct map set as default in project settings. And if your materials are saved in asset browser. Also if there are errors when you try to save project.
