I was working on an NPC boss and tried to add sound to the animation, but I didn’t seem to find a way to get sound from the NPC’s location.
Idk how else you would do it for npc’s scripted for the NPC spawner. Thank You.
I have been waiting 6-8 months for them to fix/update this aspect of npc’s iv asked on many live streams to with no reply
you can add anim sound notifys in UE then migrate that, then right click in UEFN and convert any play sounds to Fortnite Emote sounds, but for some reason you cant validate Fortnite Emote sounds even tho they give you the option to convert to them it makes no sence
and iv found no other way to have npc with audio
hopefully we can upvote this issue and get epic to look into it, a simple fix to allow valdation would mean we could add sounds to our animations and have fully working npcs
