Need Advice: Can I present my game concept without a prototype?

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re doing well.
I’m currently working on a game concept that is very important to me, and before I take the next steps, I would really appreciate some guidance from the community especially from experienced developers and those with business or production insight.

My project is still at the concept stage, but it is not a loose idea. I have already developed:

  • a complete story outline

  • the characters and world structure

  • gameplay systems and progression concepts

  • the core vision, tone, and artistic direction

However, I am not yet able to build a prototype because I’m still learning Unreal Engine and do not have technical experience.

This brings me to my main questions:

1. Is it safe to share my full game concept publicly here?

I’m excited about my idea, but also worried about sharing too much without having a prototype or any technical protection.

2. Is it possible to get support, collaborators, or feedback at this early stage before I have a playable build?

I want to move this project forward, but I don’t want to take a wrong step or present things in a way that seems unprofessional.

3. What is the best way to present a game concept on this forum so that developers and potential collaborators can understand the vision clearly?

I want to communicate my concept in a structured, serious, and respectful way.

I would greatly value your advice.
Thank you for taking the time to read this it means a lot.

Have a great day, and I’m looking forward to learning from your experience.
