Hi everyone,
I’m looking to connect with small indie teams, solo developers, or prototype builders who have a mechanic, combat system, co-op idea, enemy type, or game loop that needs a stronger world around it.
My strength is not just “coming up with lore.” I build playable setting architecture — the kind of worldbuilding that gives a mechanic purpose, identity, factions, enemies, progression logic, and prototype direction.
For example, if someone came to me with:
“We have a team-combat system based around adaptive armor and monster enemies, but no setting yet.”
I might turn that into something like:
In 2026, humanity experienced first contact with a living organic nanite swarm that bonded with every human body. For twenty years, people used it for medicine, labor, sports, war, fashion, and survival. Then humanity discovered the truth: the Swarm was not a gift. It was prey hiding inside us from something that feeds on it. Now cities are split between human-held Amber Zones and White Zones being digested by an alien harvest ecology. Players could be Linekeepers, defenders whose abilities come from human-Swarm adaptation, fighting Sieveborn enemies that are not soldiers but biological feeding functions: Tasters, Needlers, Crackers, Peelers, Nulls, Grazers, and Mouths.
That is the kind of work I do.
I can help with:
-
turning a loose mechanic into a world concept
-
creating factions and enemy ecologies
-
designing player fantasy and role identity
-
connecting lore directly to gameplay
-
shaping prototype-friendly vertical slice ideas
-
building reusable concept documents / mini-bibles
-
finding the “game inside the world”
I am especially interested in projects that need someone to help make the setting, enemies, player role, and systems feel like they belong together.
I am not claiming to be a programmer or 3D artist. I am a world/systems concept designer with a strong focus on player fantasy, game loops, enemy logic, and playable worldbuilding.
If you have a mechanic, prototype, combat idea, co-op loop, or game seed that needs a world wrapped around it, I’d be happy to talk.
