I was experimenting with the ML Deformer file that UE provides. When I changed all the settings and retrained, it worked fine, I got the weight map on the mesh. But when I changed the vertex indices from ‘Custom’ to ‘Clothing_Top’ and then changed back to ‘Custom’ and retrained the model, I didn’t get any weight map on the geometry!
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Could it be that something isn’t resetting properly when switching back to ‘Custom’?
I tried training a new mesh using 5k poses FBX and 5k simulated poses as Alembic using the “Nearest Neighbor Model” , but it didn’t produce any results after training. The training process completed successfully, but the deformer didn’t function as expected. However, when I switched to the ‘Neural Morph Model’ , it worked.
