Near plane clipping of 1st person weapons?

To prevent the 1st person weapons from clipping the far plane we are under scaling down the 1st person hands and weapons but an issue we are having is it seems that the weapons and hands will clip the near plane and we are assuming at the moment that the engine is culling the render? Tried a few things to fix it but the only thing that seems to work is to move the hands forward enough that the recoil does not pull the weapon backwards across the plane.

Any ideas as to how to prevent this once and for all would be appreciated.

have you tried project settings>general settings>settings>near clip plane? :smiley:
