I’d really like to be able to Render out an EXR sequence from MRQ with both the inner and outer Frustum in the same output, does anyone know of a way to do this?
I can successfully render out the outer frustum without issue, but i’d really like to also have the inner frustrum rendered over the top similiar to the nDisplay preview.
Did you work this out in the end?
Interested in this too ? Seems weird to me that the option just doesnt exist
There is currently no built in solution for this, no. What’s the use case here?
Offline render of a camera move, used with a motion control arm. You record a move, render it, and now you can do ICVFX but with slow motion (100+fps displayed on the wall) or lots of samples / path tracing quality for your frustum.
I built a custom blueprint for it but it’s like recreating ndisplay from scratch.
This guy does it also but i’m not sure what’s his pipeline : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36QrWTDHBNo
Ahh I see. This makes sense. I’ll pass this along to the Product Team for consideration.
Thanks a lot !
Okay, they put it on the roadmap. I am not sure if it will make 5.6, though, but they are going to support it. We’ve wanted to have a stab at better nDisplay offline rendering support, and the PM made sure being able to bake the frustum to the render was on it there when they dug into it.
