nDisplay best node scenario

I currently have 8x 4K projectors, and I’m trying to determine the best hardware setup for my needs.

From what I’ve read, it seems that having more nodes, each with a single GPU, is preferable to having fewer nodes with multiple GPUs. Can anyone confirm if this is indeed the best approach?

I’m planning to invest in 4 A6000 Ada GPUs across 4 nodes to power the 8 projectors at 4K. I’ll be using nDisplay, NVIDIA Mosaic, and incorporating both genlock and framelock. Would this setup be overkill for running high-detail scenes with ray tracing, or should I consider scaling up further?

Hello,

I have a similar question. I currently want to connect 16 WVGA projectors. For this specific application, I want to address Microvision Showwx(+) laserprojectors. Microvision SHOWWX Laser Pico Projector Specs (projectorcentral.com)

Using a female yellow RCA as input connector, for Resolution
848x480 Aspect Ratio 16:9 (WVGA) (25 or 30 FPS ?)

Each projector has to view a separate angle of the unreal stage. Can this be done with 2 PC win 11 each with a NVIDIA RTX 4080 by expanding it with Startech MSTMDP123DP on one port?
