Navigate UMG with gamepad?

Hello!

I want to be able to navigate my menus with a gamepad, but cannot seem to do it.

I did a tutorial for this (this one) in an example project (ShooterGame) and it worked pretty well. But when I tried it in my project, it didn’t work. How do I tell my game to recognize gamepad inputs?

Here is the blueprint for the functionality in the tutorial, in my widget.
