Nanite not working in UE5 - Meshes deformed and no geometry!

Hi Loki,

It seems your Position Precision is set to high, maybe lowering that value will improve the geometry.

To do so:

  • Find the Static Mesh
  • Open it by clicking on ‘Edit’
  • On the right panel, look for ‘Details’
  • Under ‘Nanite Settings’ you can see ‘Position Precision’
  • I recommend you to minimize this value to ‘1/8192cm (0.000122cm)’
  • You can also play with ‘Fallback Triangle Percent’ value. 1.0 = standart but if you play with this between 0.1 - 1.0 you will notice that the amount of Triangles will change. I still don’t know if this will improve the result but give it a try!
  • Press ‘Apply’
