after updating the new version of UE5, nanite is not working. The error message is ‘Nanite is used in the scene but not supported’ in project CitySample. My GPU is RTX3090, and the hardware driver has been updated to the latest version, OS is Windows10. If I change the RHI to vulkan, nanite is working, but the directx12 is not.
I have the same issue. Everything up to date but no nanite!
Yep same problem, Could this be a windows 10 issue perhaps? running windows 10 pro with latest updates. Seems to be a direct x 12 issue, Vulcan works fine.
Same problem here…
Nanite works after updating Windows 10 to a newer version. But the old version I used also shoud work accodring to the documentation.
my system: rtx3090, amd 5950x, 32gb ram, windows 11, ue 5.03., screen percentage 100%
Same problem here. If i activate nanite the fps from 40ish drops to 5 on my computer. when i look at the command: gpu stat i have (unaccounted) 200ms or so… so the computer is trying to calculate nanite but failing.
I’m working on large scale landscapes for virtual production and to populate my scene with foliage (stones) i need to use nanite. Would be nice if there was an update soon that fixes the issue.
Anyone else with conclusions how to improve this situation?
