Nanite, degenerated faces

Hi I have a problem with some meshes. I made some simple walls but if I activate Nanite there are strange triangles in the door. If I turn it of they disapear but then the meshes dont get so much light from lumen. Does somebody know what causes this Problem ? I checked normals smoothing and Uvs all looks fine.


this happens because there are not enough triangles dedicated to that mesh and it can’t keep the shape as it should.

double click on the mesh which has issues in the content browser, you will open a new window where you can play with how aggressive nanite triangulation is on a particular mesh. add more triangles till it looks correctly.

I am sorry to ask again, so I checked the settings in the mesh but it seams to not change anything. Could you show me the setting that I need to change maybe I did not adjust the right one. Thank you for your help.

you are right, for some reason testing the settings on the default meshes included in the starter project does nothing, it does’t changes the triangles distribution and number of triangles.
