My question is that when I enable Nanite Support on a mesh, for example a tree, this is what happens. It does nothing and so the mesh stays.

You are in lit Mode could you check on nanite mode
Yes, it works in nanite visualization, only the Mesh remains as in the first picture. Say I’m using version 5.0.3, maybe Foliage Nanite doesn’t really work here, only for static elements, no?
Yes your engine version does not support foliage, might you got the latest unreal engine Foliage Nanite
