A three-story hotel building in the classic style of the 20th century, including complete rooms, editable room door signs, lobby and exterior structure. Ray tracing must be enabled.
The metal doorplates on the wooden doors of all the guest rooms in the scene are freely editable via blueprints (including numbers, symbols, and English). The scene also comes with customizable velvet rope poles blueprints, a fan with adjustable speed, and a clock blueprint that moves according to real-time time.
The hotel consists of three floors, with twelve accessible rooms on the second and third floors. The two closed rooms closest to the Poseidon statue have no designated rooms and are inaccessible. If you need to add more floors to the hotel, you may need to modify or add the hotel's front and back models, and then convert the two doors closest to the statue into elevators.
The numbers on the wooden doors in the scene are individually editable. Simply enter the desired text in the text field in the Blueprint.
If the text you enter is too long, the text in the label will exceed the maximum size and be removed. If you need to modify the font, text size, font color, etc., you need to go to the Widget folder within the Blueprint folder, find the corresponding widget file, and make the changes.
Warning: All text modifications will not appear until you run the scene. In the default editing state, no text is visible. During the first run, your view may briefly freeze or run at a relatively low frame rate for 15-30 seconds before returning to normal, or there may be no loading time. This is due to the loading and caching of the text components in the label. The duration will vary depending on the number and configuration of labels in the scene.
The clock is available in round and square styles, and the clock blueprint in the scene runs at the speed of real events. You adjust the minute hand, hour hand and second hand of the clock to determine the start time.
For example, if you need to adjust the time to 3 o'clock, you need to adjust the number of the hour hand in the blueprint to -90 (-90 degrees), and the same applies to the adjustment of the minute hand and second hand.
After setting the angle in the blueprint, you cannot preview the changes and movement of the hour hand in the editor. You can only see the movement after the scene starts running.
The fan can only control the speed, and does not include the animation from stop to rotation.
Likewise, you cannot preview the speed of the fan in the editor; you can only see the movement once the scene is running.
There are five types of modular shops available for the exterior building structure on the first floor. If you do not want to choose a shop, you can also use the basic modular wall structure.
This scene doesn't include detailed furniture or other props for each guest room. You can customize the rooms to your liking. The wooden windows on the side of the hotel have three variations of shutters.
In the glass material Ml_buidingwindow_glass, the Reflection texture simulates glass reflections by overlaying an HDR map onto the Base Color. In a real-world project, you may want to modify the default Reflection texture. If you don't want to enable simulated reflections, go to "Add Reflection to Color?" to turn it off.
Since Unreal's ray tracing doesn't support blueprint spline meshes, the velvet rope poles blueprints in the showcase have been converted to combine meshes. If you need to modify the spline mesh, delete the velvet rope poles in the scene, find BP_velvetropepoles in the blueprint, and turn off "Hide Spline Mesh?" and "Actor Hidden In Game".
