My unreal engine installation keeps stopping after reaching a certain percentage(44%)

I was reviewing other posts where several people mentioned that the installation was getting stuck at a specific percentage. If you already tried the basic steps I mentioned in this post

Run the installer as administrator. Check if your antivirus or Firewalls is blocking the installation; disabling it temporarily might work. There are two other possible solutions that worked for some people:

1. Pause and resume the installation
   They paused the download in the Epic Games Launcher, waited a few seconds, and then resumed it. In some cases, this forced the launcher to reconnect properly and the installation continued.
2. Install an older version of the Epic Games Launcher (18.8.1)
   Some users mentioned that the issue was related to the launcher version rather than Unreal itself. After uninstalling the current launcher and installing an older version (specifically v18.8.1), they were able to install the engine without it getting stuck again.

Hello! The same thing happened to me today and I fixed it by installing a previous version of Epic Games Launcher, version 18.8.1 specifically. I recommend uninstalling Epic Games Launcher and Epic Online Services and then installing 18.8.1 from here: https://epic-games-launcher.en.softonic.com/versions During installation it will download the latest update (which caused the issue) but you can decline installing it later by pressing ‘Cancel’.
