my unreal engine editor freeze when i create new folder or even when i only right click on an actor

Hello

every time I right-click on an object or inside the content browser, it causes UnrealEngine to freeze

and when I close it from the task manager it freezes my whole pc

any recommendations?

Hey there @Deeb_25! Welcome to the community! So the context menu is causing freezes? Are there any large spikes in CPU or GPU when the freeze occurs? Also my I know your computers specs?

I’ve seen a number of issues where the context menu would disappear, but not often do I see it freeze the client entirely.

it was a windows problem after all
I had to format my pc with new update to solve it
